About The Cover

The Seal of the Grand Lodge of A.F. & A.M. of Montana

The Seal of the Grand Lodge shall be kept by the Grand Secretary and used
to affix the Seal with his attestation to all instruments of writing issued by
the Grand Lodge and also to all the written official acts of the Grand Master
when required. The Grand Secretary shall also keep a Book of Lode Seals of
each Lodge in the Jurisdiction. Documents bearing the Grand Lodge Seal
shall include dues cards; Charters and amended Charters (consolidation,
surrender, and revoked); certificates, diplomas, and awards.
Individual Lodge shall have and provide a suitable seal, bearing such
devices as may be deemed proper. All documents or papers of every kind,
issued by the lodge, or from the Master or Secretary in his official capacity,
shall bear the impress of the Seal. The Lodge Secretary shall be responsible
for the Lodge Seal.
