was taken from the British
and later played during the
Revolutionary and Civil Wars.
This Grand Masters' Lion Paw
signet ring is made of gold mined at
Alder Gulch, Virginia City, Montana
Territory in 1887, by Samuel Word,
who was one of the fi rst lawyers
admitted to practice law in the
Montana, Territory on December 4,
1864.
