Owned & Operated

The Montana Masonic Foundation owns and operates an office building that is home to the Grand Lodge AF&AM of Montana. This building also houses the Freemasonry museum, along with the Montana Masonic Library and Research Center, which preserves and shares Masonic history and Montana history.

The Montana Masonic Museum serves as a distinguished Freemasonry museum, featuring a library and research center that focuses on Masonic history, Montana history, and early American history. The collections highlight the significant contributions of the Freemasons to the development of Montana, showcasing extensive artifacts from the American Revolution to the present. Among the items on display are Masonic jewels crafted from Montana gold and silver, regalia, paintings, engravings, photographs, and various ephemera.

Our library books and manuscripts are vast; the oldest book in the collection was published in 1740. We have handwritten documents that showcase Masonic history and early Montana history. Visit this fascinating collection of Masonic objects, ephemera, and our extensive collection of books and documents at the Freemasonry museum.
