Eff ective leadership will result in a high-performing lodge that can achieve its goals and positively impact
the fraternity and society.
Brothers, staying positive and optimistic is important while accepting that our membership is declining. Always
remember that this is an opportunity to focus on engaging and serving our current members more eff ectively.
By providing valuable benefi ts and creating a culture that masons are proud to be a part of, we will attract
new members while increasing retention among current members. This is also a chance to re-visit and re-
apply our fraternity’s mission and values and remember who we are and what we do. This will help us ensure
that we are fulfi lling our purpose and meeting the needs of our fraternity.
Our fraternity will overcome this challenge with hard work, dedication, and a positive outlook and emerge
even more robust.
