Th erefore, the words "Holy Scriptures" connote
diff erent holy books to peoples of diff erent religions.

To Christians, it means the Holy Bible. ...(the Old
     and New Testaments)

To Jews, it means the Tanakh, (the Hebrew Bible,
which contains the Torah, the Nevi'im and the
     Kethuvim).

Th e Talmud: Th e Jewish people also consider the
Talmud to be one of their Holy Books, as the Talmud
is a record of rabbinic discussions pertaining to Jewish
law, ethics, customs, and history. It is a central text of
Rabbinic Judaism, second only to the Hebrew Bible in
     importance.

Th e Talmud has two components: the Mishnah
(circa 200 CE), the fi rst written compendium of
Judaism's Oral Law; and the Gemara (circa 500 CE),
which is a discussion of the Mishnah and related
Tannaitic writings that oft en discusses other subjects
and expounds broadly on the Tanakh.

Masonic Blue From Th e Christian Bible:
We know that the Jewish Torah is approximately 1700
years older than the Christian Bible. We also know
that the fi rst fi ve books of the Old Testament (Genesis,
     Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers and Deuteronomy)
originate from the fi ve books of Moses, which are
found in the Torah. Th e Torah is comprised solely of
these fi ve books of Moses. GRAND LODGE OF MONTANA

Let's take a look at this verse in the book of Numbers,
which is common to both the Torah and the Christian
Bible to see if we can fi nd information which might
lead us to the origins of Masonic Blue:
